Office Assistants to work at the United Nations Nairobi Office Block N & Q
A) Office Assistants, Receptionists and Data Clerks to work
in Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Kericho, Eldoret, Kakamega and Mombasa.
B) Office Assistants and Data Entry Clerks to work at the United Nations C) Office in South Sudan Offices Juba and Turkana, North Eastern Kenya.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
East African citizens with K.C.S.E |O’ level education and above
Computer literate (knowledge in Excel and Word is an added advantage)
Responsible and honest
Good in English communication(Written & Spoken)
Team players with good interpersonal skills
Valid PASSPORT (Only For South Sudan Juba applicants)
NOTE | Training and guidance is provided in administrative and leadership positions and areas where experience/expertise may be needed.
EMPLOYMENT & CONTRACT DURATION
Employment is on a 5 year contract initially, with possibility of conversion to permanent and pensionable, subject to organizational needs and performance.
SALARY & ALLOWANCES
Monthly net salary range; Nairobi and Major towns in Kenya | US$ 559 (Kshs 60,500/=) Daily allowance :Kshs 500/=
Monthly net salary range: North Eastern Kenya : USD$ 920 (Kshs 99,500),Daily allowance 15 USD( 1,700 Kshs).
South Sudan Juba; US$ 1,163 (Kshs 150,500/=) Daily allowance; 25 USD (Kshs 2,700).
Tax; Salaries, grants and allowances paid by the United Nations
are exempt from any form of income tax.
ALLOWANCES|These are offered when you have eligible children in school or an eligible dependent spouse/parent.
WORK & TRANSPORTATION
Students and those willing to work part-time must indicate in their application letters. You can also apply to work for a minimum of 4 months part time.
Transport to all towns in Kenya and South Sudan Juba is provided FREE from Nairobi, after contract signing on Employee-Employer session at The UNITED NATIONS OFFICE,UN AVENUE GIGIRI Nairobi.
